A born communicator, Steve earned his insights through many years of hard work in the industry, beginning with hands-on bench work as a clinical microbiologist. During an 11-year tenure with an international medical diagnostics company based in the UK, Steve rose from Sales Representative to Director of International Sales and Marketing. He then moved to the US and held a role as Business Unit Manager for Centocor, a leading biopharmaceutical company. His corporate experience was followed by several years as an ad agency executive, not only at his own company, but also at New York-based Euro RSCG Life. Steve provides marketing knowledge and business wisdom distilled from over 25 years of healthcare experience.

ERIN REED EVANS
HEAD OF CREATIVE
Erin is the member of our dynamic leadership team who oversees all creative projects (as well as our wily pack of creative professionals). Before coming to us, she worked for the Dudnyk Healthcare Group and Saatchi & Saatchi, as well as a diverse portfolio of clients as a freelancer. An award-winning Creative Director, Erin spent 13 years in human pharma before expanding into beverage, financial, and small business owner advertising. When she’s not leaping tall buildings in a single bound here at Circa, Erin plays hero to her spouse, two sons, a dog, a cat, and three fish at home. She also volunteers as the manager of her sons’ baseball teams and participates in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life each year — all without needing tights and a cape.
SENIOR DIRECTOR, STRATEGY
Megan Kile is a multi–award-winning creative director and strategic thinker. With plenty of gumption, her brain, and a BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown, Megan has put together a decades-spanning career at agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Euro RSCG Life, 30 West/Wyeth, and others. Over that time, Megan has worked in pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer, and industrial advertising. With her last 10 years of experience being mostly in animal health, including numerous product launches, Megan can now say that her love of animals has finally come full circle. Something of a Francophile, she brings a bit of Parisian flair to her work at Circa.
SENIOR DIRECTOR, STRATEGY
Steve brings extensive pharmaceutical marketing experience to his Account team management role at Circa. A true communications professional, he has held senior leadership positions in large agency networks including Publicis and Havas, as well as a highly productive career at Merck & Co. His human health experience encompasses domestic and global product assignments in cardiovascular, oncology, hospital products, and vaccines. He has led countless annual planning processes, large scale IT integrations, and internal training seminars on a variety of topics. Steve holds Six Sigma certification in strategic communications planning: a skill that positively benefits our clients, staff and external partners.
JOHN KIRTON, PHD
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR
John traded the rigors of academia for the “glamor” of communications 8 years ago (and never looked back!). He brings an extensive scientific background, as well as curiosity and imagination, to client relationships and his role as Client Engagement Director. Prior to entering the creative agency world, John was a postdoctoral research associate at 2 of the world's leading research and teaching universities: King’s College London and Manchester University, where he also earned a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in biochemistry and a doctor of philosophy in molecular biology. Ever the overachiever, John also runs marathons in his spare time, including a 155-mile race in China called the Gobi March, which is part of the 4 Deserts Race Series known as “the ultimate test of human endurance.” He’s also a passionate football fan (that’s soccer for those in the US) and father of 2.
